ART255 Art Marketing 3 Credits

Career goals, presentation of artist and art work (portfolio, resume, business cards, catalog), pricing and selling works, networking, establishing a studio, promotion and publicity, writing press releases, proposal writing, business ethics, artist rights, copyright law, contracts and agreements, royalties, record keeping, and communication skills. Prerequisites: None.

Course Notes: ART255 is required for majors in both the AAFA-ART and AAS in Digital Arts. It is recommended that students take this class during their last semester.

Due to COVID related campus lab closures, students will be provided an Adobe Creative Cloud account tied to their MEID username, for home use on PC or Mac computers (smartphone or tablet mobile devices are not supported) during the duration of this course. Students should review the minimum configuration requirements to run Adobe CC on their personal device at:
