Profile

I am a Chemistry Residential Faculty presently at Mesa Community College (MCC) since 2006. Prior to joining MCC, I worked in undergraduate and graduate schools in India and the USA, with an experience in teaching and research mentoring spanning over the past 31 years. My Masters degree study was in the CSIR India Chemistry curriculum with specialization (major) in Analytical Chemistry and elective (minor) as Environmental Chemistry. My Doctoral study was in Electro-analytical Chemistry.

I have a great passion for discovering and teaching in innovative and diverse 'student-centered' ways, designing alternative assessment practices, and also mentoring research in Chemistry. Apart from teaching Chemistry, I love to cook and try out vegetarian dishes.
