Brian Schraum serves as web editor and Drupal trainer in the Office of Institutional Advancement, where he is responsible for content on the MCC website. He also provides training to other website editors across the college. Prior to this role, Schraum served in several marketing roles at Arizona State University, including assistant director of digital marketing, manager of communications and events, and digital communications specialist. He has been building websites for more than 20 years.

In a former life, Schraum taught journalism and advised student media at both a community college and university in Washington state. He holds an Associate in Arts from Green River Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Washington State University, and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri. He also earned a graduate certificate in public administration from ASU.
