Introduction to the electronic game industry, including history, market, distribution and publishing channels, business models, team roles, and career landscape. Technical topics covered include software engineering, artificial intelligence, game physics, computer graphics, and networking.

CIS285 Computer Information Systems Capstone Project 3 Credits
Students will create a capstone project with opportunities for individualized research and application of aggregate technology and professional knowledge and skills obtained throughout the student's program of study. Focus on communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and project management skills.

CIS130DA 3D Studio Max: Modeling 3 Credits
Introduction to 3D modeling using 3D Studio Max. Emphasis will be placed on polygonal, solid, and surface modeling tools. Students will also understand concepts such as modifiers, sub-object editing, extruding, Booleans, lofting, lathing and compound object modeling. Introduction to basic lighting, texturing and rendering techniques.
Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CIS105.
