Due to an unpredictable meeting schedule, I don't hold regular office hours. However, I am in my office regularly and in most cases respond to email promptly. Please send me an email if you'd like an appointment.


Christopher Tubilewicz is the Director of Performing Arts Facilities at Mesa Community College. Chris is charged with the operation of MCC's 3 performance venues; the MCC Theatre, MCC Performing Arts Center and The Rehearsal and Performance Center at Red Mountain.

The objective of this course is to provide hands-on experience in the creation of a theatrical production. This course is tailored around the work done in a Theatre Scenic Shop. Structured to provide the student with an atmosphere of professional expertise and guidance. Professional-type facilities and equipment are made available for student use. Prerequisites: None.

Safety practices in theatre and film production. Includes Focus on national safety organizations and production practices of theatre stages and soundstages, theatrical rigging, electrical, scenic construction, paint and chemical handling, automation, special effects, welding, and personal safety practices.
