Profile

Diana N. Bullen is  a faculty member in the Business Department at Mesa Community College. She is the Director of the General Business Programs and the Director of  Belgium "A Glimpse into the EU" study abroad, a program which  focuses on International Business and Intercultural Communications. Diana is actively engaged in growing the International Business programs at MCC.  She has over 20 years of experience in training and development.  She earned her Masters in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University (Orange, California) and she holds a variety of certifications  in personal and corporate coaching: Emotional Intelligence, Achieve Global, True Colors Personality, and ASESS Systems.  Diana  facilitated training workshops for businessmen and women, directors and government dignitaries from diverse backgrounds and fields across three continents (Asia, EU, USA) In addition to teaching and training, she has owned a couple of small businesses, and served as the president of a variety of women’s organizations.

Diana is originally from Argentina and is passionate about education and global awareness.  She taught for over 7 years in the Business Department at Pierce College, Lakewood, Washington and was featured multiple years in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”  In 2006, she received the Outstanding Educator of the year Award for the Washington Association of Vocational Educators.  She has also been recognized as  a Phi Theta Kappa Mentor (nominated by her students.)

Diana is actively engaged in a variety of boards and committees:

· OWIT – Organization of Women in International Trade – Educational Outreach Director – Executive Board member

MGT251 Human Relations in Business 3 Credits

Analysis of motivation, leadership, communications, and other human factors. Cultural differences that may create conflict and affect morale individually and within organizations. Prerequisites: None. MGT101 or MGT175 or MGT229 suggested, but not required.
