RUS101 Elementary Russian I 4 Credits

Basic grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary of the Russian language. Practice of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Prerequisites: None.

Course Notes: If you have previous knowledge of Russian or you have taken high school Russian classes, please contact the World Languages department (480-461-7031) to be placed in the appropriate level.

Continued study of grammar and vocabulary, with emphasis on speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in RUS101, or permission of Department or Division.

Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required.
