HES106 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) 0.5 Credits
Basic overview of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Covers choking procedures and the importance, guidelines, and techniques for performing CPR and utilizing an AED. Prerequisites: None.
Students may be required to complete additional practice time and skills assessment based upon skills assessment during the class session (a minimum of one hour within one week of the course, which is within the required contact hours for the course).
