ECE216AA Computer-Aided Engineering 3 Credits

Study and application of engineering graphics, parts modeling, assemblies modeling, and engineering drawings including tolerancing and fasteners using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ECE103 or permission of Instructor or Division or Department Chair.

Notes: Live Online classes have sessions that meet online on specific days and times. Attendance in these sessions will be at the discretion of the instructor, and additional work will be required on the student’s own time. Access to a computer or mobile device with Internet connection is required. Students may take the "Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam" (CSWA) at no cost, this exam is optional. Students need to have access to a computer with Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit or higher in order to install and use SolidWorks. The SolidWorks software will be provided to students at no cost.
