Advanced Python object-oriented programming concepts and applications. Emphasis on code documenting, versioning, unit testing strategies, and security practices for Python project/package development. Includes Python applications for data analysis, networking, database manipulation, and web application development.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CIS156 or permission of Instructor.

CIS416 Presentation of Analytics and Programming Results and Solutions 3 Credits

Use of data analytic tools, programming methods, nominal (components/elements), and ordered steps to proficiently and effectively deliver comprehensive results and understanding, ranging from simple to complex data. Guide technical and non-technical audiences in understanding data and establish opportunities for the audience to believe it. Mitigate the problems that can be caused by poor decision making due to mis-understandings, mis-interpretations, mis-representations and disconnections among organizational members with respect to the meaning of results.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CIS256, CIS260BI, CIS260TB, CIS262AD, (CIS276DA or CIS276DB), CIS317, and CIS318, or permission of Instructor.
