RDG100 | Successful College Reading | 3 Credits | ||||

Emphasis on reading study strategies for any introductory class in any subject area. Introduction to Learning Management System (LMS), how to successfully read course textbooks and assessments, how to navigate information technology and development of academic vocabulary. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ALT100, or ESL202, or appropriate reading placement, or permission of Instructor. Corequisites: Any 100-level course in another content area, or permission of Instructor. |

Course Notes: Students who test into RDG091 are now able to satisfy the RDG091 requirement with RDG100. This class is designed to help students read the necessary college level material used in a companion course in another discipline. Students must be co-enrolled in any introductory course in another content area to take RDG100.
