Analysis of rational, radical, quadratic and exponential equations, functions and applications; graphs of radical, quadratic and exponential functions; operations on polynomial, rational, and radical expressions. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in each of the following courses: (MAT055, MAT056, and MAT057), OR a grade of C or better in MAT09+, OR an appropriate district placement. |
||||||
Course Notes: This class may require a graphing calculator and/or online software package, that may result in an additional cost to the student. Some instructors allow the use of the online textbook that accompanies the online software package in lieu of a physical textbook. Contact your instructor for details. All students must meet the MCC Mathematics Department prerequisite requirements for each class. See http://www.mesacc.edu/departments/mathematics-computer-science/mathematics/resources/ for department policies. It is highly encouraged that you attend the FREE MCC Math Boot Camp that occurs prior to the beginning of the semester. Participants will review key skills necessary for success; participants will be better prepared for their course.
