Introduces fundamental concepts of the field of biomedical equipment technology. Emphasis on the responsibilities of the technician, electrical safety, and knowledge of devices and their functions, maintenance, and repair.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ELE111, BIO160 and (HCC145 or HCC145AA).
