Profile

Selected as Vice President of Administrative Services at Mesa Community College in January 2023, Mary Driessen’s responsibilities include planning, direction, evaluation, oversight and resource management in support of the college’s mission and strategic priorities. She manages the work of Business Operations, Computer Technology Services, Maintenance and Operations, and Public Safety.

With nearly three decades of experience in financial management and leadership, Mary previously was the MCC Interim Vice President of Administrative Services, first joining MCC in June 2021 as Associate Vice President of Business Operations.

Prior to MCC, her career experience includes Director of Operations at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, Finance Manager of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County, Management and Budget Supervisor of Maricopa County, and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for the International Rescue Committee in the Greater New York City Area.

Driessen earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University.
