MAT213 Brief Calculus 4 Credits
Introduction to the theory, techniques, and applications of the differential and integral calculus of functions with problems related to business, life, and the social sciences.
Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MAT15+, or MAT187, or an appropriate District placement.
This class may require a graphing calculator and/or online software package, such as MyMathLab, that may result in an additional cost to the student. Some instructors allow the use of the online textbook that accompanies the online software package in lieu of a physical textbook. Contact your instructor for details. All students must meet the MCC Mathematics Department prerequisite requirements for each class within two years of first day of class. See for department policies.
