• Fall 2026 registration is officially open! While you can register up until the first day of classes on August 24th, courses fill up quickly. Secure your preferred schedule by registering as soon as possible to ensure you get the classes you need.
• Tuition will be due by July 27 - financial aid, payment plan or paid in full.
• Complete your 26-27 FAFSA.
• The spring 27 schedule is released  on September 28, priority registration starts October 12.

My office is located at Southern and Dobson campus in the Cultural Sciences building, SC 59, where the faculty office and the computer student study lounge are located. If the side doors are locked, the main entrance will be open and is on the South side, facing the covered parking. 

I discovered my passion for supporting student success early in my career while working for a nonprofit in the City of Phoenix, where much of my caseload consisted of college students. I later continued this work in Northern Virginia with the Pathway to the Baccalaureate program, supporting students throughout their entire community college journey and helping them achieve their transfer goals. During this time, I also taught my first college-level course and quickly developed a passion for teaching.

Since then, I have remained committed to supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. I currently serve as a full-time academic advisor for the BCE programs (Behavioral Sciences, Culture and Society, and Education). In addition, I am an adjunct instructor teaching Intro to Sociology (MCC and ASU), Economics: A Social Issues Perspective (MCC), and have taught College Success (MCC and GCC).

My work focuses on helping students develop and achieve their academic and personal goals. I emphasize the value of the learning process, encouraging students to engage with course material, reflect on their growth, and build skills that extend beyond the classroom. I strive to create an environment where students feel supported while also being challenged to think critically, ask questions, and take ownership of their education. In my classes, I integrate digital literacy concepts, helping students evaluate the benefits and limitations of tools such as generative AI while strengthening their ability to think independently and ethically about technology and its role in learning.
