I am available for in-person office appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings.  I am also available on Tuesdays and Thursdays by virtual online appointments.  All appointments should be made through instructional services. 

Profile

Prof. Peggy Francis has been employed with the Maricopa County Community College District since 2005, as an adjunct faculty with Chandler Gilbert Community College teaching online, face to face, and hybrid COM100, COM225, COM230, and COM263 courses through the Communications and Fine Arts Division. In addition to employment with the college, she has worked as a counselor, program developer, staff development trainer and as a probation officer, recently retiring after 30 years. Prof. Francis obtained a BA degree from A.S.U. in Intercultural Communication with a minor in marketing and music. She also holds an M.Ed from N.A.U., as well as a CGAS from Ottawa University.  In her spare time, she enjoys camping, traveling, fishing, music, photography, art, genealogy, and spending time with family.  Her teaching philosophy encompasses all learning styles with the underlying belief that an active teaching style builds community within and outside the classroom to promote student success.
