Notes: In this intermediate Navajo weaving class, the basic Diamond Twill and Two-Faced weaving techniques will be taught by non-Native weaver Sharie Monsam. Students must have basic two-shed weaving skills and come to this class with a loom already warped in a size of their choosing. We recommend 12-14" wide by 16-18" long in order to complete in the 3-week time frame. Please bring 3 colors of single-ply weft wool in a dark color, a medium color, and a light color. The colors should contrast nicely with one another. You will also need four 1/4-inch dowels for the heddles for 4-sheds, and all associated weaving tools.
