BIO201 Human Anatomy and Physiology I 4 Credits
Study of structure and function of the human body. Topics include cells, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system.
Prerequisites: C or better in (BIO156, or BIO156XT, or BIO181, or BIO181XT, or 1 yr of high school biology) and (RDG100, or RDG100LL, or higher, or eligibility for CRE101). CHM130 or higher or one year of high school chemistry suggested but not required.
It is highly encouraged that you attend the FREE MCC Biology Boot Camp that occurs prior to the beginning of the semester. Participants will review key skills necessary for success; participants will be better prepared for their course. Lecture content is provided as recorded videos supplemented by optional live office hours and study sessions. Lab content is available online and you will not be required to purchase a lab manual.
