Notes: Raised-Outline Navajo weaving technique from the Coalmine Mesa Region will be taught by non-native weaver Niccole Villa Cerveny. Students must come to this class with a loom that is already warped in a size of their choosing. We recommend 12” wide x 16” long to develop a sampler in the available time frame. Please bring 3 or more colors of single-ply wool, preferably one neutral for background color and 2 or more contrasting colors. Please contact niccole.cerveny@mesacc.edu with any questions. |
