Acquaints students with the use and importance of geological studies as they apply to the interactions between people and the Earth. Notes: CLS# is a field-based course. Students will travel to the Grand Canyon in provided college vans leaving Friday at 8:30am and returning Sunday at 6:00pm. The trip will include several hikes, including hiking into the Grand Canyon 3-4 miles. It is expected that you are in good physical shape to hike the 6-8 mile roundtrip journey into and out of the Grand Canyon. A mandatory meeting will be held on April 9th, Thursday at 1:30 to discuss the logistics of the course. Check the Canvas page for updated information.
